Lockdown gave me the opportunity to completely overhaul and upgrade my studio, so i totally rewired and reconfigured the system, purchasing and installing the Universal Audio Apollo 16 audio interface (augmented by the UA Satellite) whilst adding many more UA plugins to my already large library. I also took the opportunity to have new valves fitted in all of my front end preamps and install a complete new headphone monitoring system. A big undertaking and investment but well worth the effort.
Just completed 2 new singles for the wonderful Waltz Awayentitled ‘Another Way’ and the haunting ‘Angel in the red room’ now available on all platforms (with a lovely vinyl pressing too) Enjoy the video for ‘Angel in the red room’
Apologies for the lack of updates for quite some time, most of you probably know i had some health issues last year that slowed me down a bit…..Anyway all good now, here are a few of the things i’ve been up to this year so far. Recorded and mixed the new album by Barney Morse- Brown (Duotone), recorded and mixed new EP’s for lanterns, Anhedonia, Tom Seals, Bines, The Rafters, also mixed a Pharrell Williams track and recorded the new album for Wishbone Ash amongst many other things, so obviously back up to speed now, please feel free to get in touch for bookings etc.
It seems quite apt at this time of the year to put this track up, Poppies is one of the tracks I produced for Maelor on his brilliant album ‘Turning of the seasons‘
